This study was conducted due to several problems the 2nd semester students of X OTKP at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Barat in 2018/2019, were facing problems in speaking, as in expressing ideas, opinions and suggestion through conversation, which made them unable to achieve the MCC. These problems were: a)The students were not able to speak English fluency and; b) The students were not able to convey their idea especially in expressing agree and disagree. Hence, to overcome the problems, the researcher conducted a Classroom Action Research by using Think Pair Share Strategy at the 2nd semester students of of X OTKP at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Barat in 2018/2019. The result of the data in Cycle I that the average score was 59, the maximum score was 73 and the minimum score was 36. While in Cycle II the average score was 79.4; the maximum score was 88 and minimum score was 75. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that Think Pair Share Strategy increases the students’ speaking skill ability of the 2nd semester student of X OTKP at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Barat in 2018/2019. Finally, the researcher writes some suggestion, namely: 1) Fellow English teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Barat is suggested to use Think Pair Share Strategy to increase the students’ ability in speaking skill expressing agree and disagree, ; and 2) The future researchers need to conduct the relevant research by using Think Pair Share Strategy in English speaking competence.
