The research was conducted through Classroom Action Research which was based on preliminary study on the eleventh grade students at SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli. Using a learning model and students’ learning outcome were variables in the research. The research was aimed to increasethe students’ learning outcome through Quantum Teaching Model.The research instruments were teacher’s and the students’ observation sheets, photos and test. Subject of the research was the students of SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli which the total number was 32 persons. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the teacher’s observation sheet in Cylce Iwas 58.825% (between weak and enough) while in Cycle II it was found 83.035 % (between good and very good). The students’ observation sheet was58.005% (between weak and enough) in Cycle I while in Cycle IIwas 80.7% (good). After examining the students, the average of the students’ ability in Cycle I was 67.11 (71.8%) while in Cycle II was80.08 (96.87%). On the basis of the research finding, it is concluded that implementing Quantum Teaching Model in teaching IPS increases the students’ ability at the eleventh grade of SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli.
